Sorry you have to register at all to post a comment here, it's just that I've had trouble with spammers... then once I'd put that in place, my system for registering people was faulty anyway, bah, how many potential recruits have I lost for the Folkestone creative directory..?
Feels very smoggy today, you can only see blue sky if you look straight up, it's sort of greeny grey if you look up at the sky at any sort of shallow angle.
OUR NEW SOFA oh yeah, it arrived, and it's quite nice. Only two problems, they gave us the wrong cushions (easy for them to sort out) and the sofa has the wrong colour feet. This might be a bigger one, it's not meant to have those dirty great black blocks underneath it, they should be light to match the rest of our furniture... what on earth are they going to do about that? We've waited ten weeks for this already... What can I do, how much money back should I ask for?
Weasel coffee: it was quite nice. Obviously I have nothing accurate to compare it with, but I don't think it tasted of weasel poo at all. It reminded me of the fresh ground coffee we used to get from the market in Greenwich, where the beans were marinated in things like Amaretto. Not worth paying the price perhaps (it's rumoured to be the most expensive coffee in the world), but if you happen to be round my house any time in the next week or so, I'll make you a cup for free.

Our new sofa is not arriving tomorrow now, I think they just realised about the clash with the football... so, rearranged for Tuesday which is the only day they will do, and it's not terribly convenient for us :-( Still, means the footie, and our lunch out in Sandgate won't be disrupted, got a couple of friends visiting this weekend, and things will be GREAT! It's going to be a good weekend for showing Folkestone off at it's best I think, though one of the visiting chums is originally from here, and the other is originally from Southend so the sea and the sunshine will be no novelty to them. Today is looking good already, the office is dead quiet (I suspect there will be one or two bunking off to watch Argentina v Germany), and I have a little lunch meeting, where I will be given weasel related GIFTS! Yes, I scored some free weasel coffee.
If you go down to the beach today... LOOK OUT! A girl's body washed up on Folkestone beach overnight, most likely it was someone last seen swimming, and she got into difficulties, how sad.
On a brighter note, good luck today Joel Freeland of Fareham in being picked in the NBA draft, this will make him a very rich man says the Telegraph, crikey. I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller, etc.
Bah, family tree main page is blank, what have I broken now? Sorry Dad. See more ancient scans, while you're waiting for me to fix it, while you're waiting for me to fix it. Also, let's throw some lovely (randomly rotating) beach related pictures as it's so sunny:

Just noticed weasel coffee is being advertised on www.popbitch.com, they're selling it via an ebay store... Weasels eat the berries from the coffee plant and can't digest the beans, so they, uh, pass on through and are gathered up. Possibly by trained monkeys. I think I have had coffee before that was made by passing through something's system.
UPDATE: You can buy it through Amazon too, they say:
Weasel coffee has been eaten and regurgitated by rare Vietnamese weasels!
It's totally safe, totally sterilised and totally delicious.
No weasels were harmed during the making of this coffee).
You can buy more products from Edible there too, including the tea picked by monkeys...
