Stereophonics sales frenzy!

Jul 8
Leas Cliff Hall, The Leas, Folkestone, Kent CT20 2DZ, Telephone: 01303 862130

This box set didn't sell, but my Stereophonics ticket did! Rah, we did not have to go and I didn't lose any money.

Looks like the same box set has come up again, and another at a higher price.

I am going to think more carefully before buy more tickets for Folkestone gigs... or am I?

Zoo thousand and HATE!

The festival sounds like the festival was awful, no-one really has a good word to say about it at work.

At least two of the headliners did not play (but as the headliners were Athlete and Dizzee Rascal) that's not necessarily a bad thing), lots of the bands were moved to timeslots where they were missed, and Chas N Dave were moved to a backstage VIP bar, bit unfair.

One of my workmates is quoted here, they mistake him for a girl though, TSK!

I've got one of these, that's not it though, hope it goes for a good price. If you want to buy mine, maybe with the tickets I have for Folkestone, get in touch. We're going to end up going at this rate :-(

Last chance for tickets (other people's tickets) or email me.

This is about how good I am on the guitar now

Jul 4

I can't decide if this is brilliant, or if he's doing all the complex stuff with his vocals. Entertaining anyway, if a bit long. Enough about the song, this performance is good too:

(Hmm not sure I can embed, here it is).

I first saw him doing Teardrop, that's better than this bo-rhap I think.

New Cross Murder Map!

Just in case you're wondering how close the double murder and firebombing was from my old flat (even though I left there years ago), I just knocked this up for Mum and Dad, to give them a bit of a point of reference.

Isn't google maps just brilliant? Doing more on the "my maps" bit of it now too, I might stop hosting my own maps altogether, maybe that's google's plan, so we all just hand our data over to them.

There's something WEIRD going on with that murder, it sounds like it must be a case of horrendous mistaken identity, I am morbidly intrigued to find out. It is sounding a bit like a Christopher Brookmyre book, do you think they were really spies, or were planning on selling some kind of bio-secret to an evil genius superpower?

Kent Festival weekend

Jul 4

Why would they organise Booshstock and zoo+thousand for the same weekend? They're both fairly close (Hythe and Tonbridge) and obviously aimed at the same indie kids, this is like putting and on the same weekend.

We're not going to either, thought about it, but it clashes with a party in London we'd planned to go to. Maybe next year, if either of the festivals survive.
