Folkestone's biggest music venue, Official site here. Seems to get called the Leas Cliffe Hall quite a bit, like it is ye olde venueueue... See mentions of Leas Cliff Pavillion too, a mix up with this and the East Cliffs Pavillion I think.

The bar is far too busy when there's any sort of event on, have a drink before you go. They will try and stop you taking drinks from the bar into the performance too, but will eventually surrender to the masses by the end of the interval.

Get tickets here for all events, or if it's a sold out even you're after try these guys. Good luck!

Just to let you know The Frenchman will be starting food Monday 4th June (2007).
Hours will be Monday to Thursday 12-8 Friday & Saturday 12-7pm Sunday 1pm - 6pm.

I remember first going to the Shades when the Esplanade Hotel was closed (replaced by Natwest Bank and WH Smiths) then the Taboo coffee bar was closed.
