www.ringlestoneinn.co.uk/ To be precise, as the inscription carved in 1632 on the impressive English oak sideboard proclaims "A Ryghte Joyouse and welcome greetynge to ye all".
"Truly Traditional" really is the welcome that awaits you as you step back in time to this unspoilt, medieval lamplit tavern. Ringlestone hamlet is nestled off the beaten track in the North Downs, yet only 5 minutes drive from Leeds castle and junction 8 of the M20 motorway.

Walked into the record shop and there's this guy talking to the staff about new tracks he was working on. He had very bright bleech blonde hair, which I mistook this for being white and mocked him (in my head) for being an old man who still thought he might make it one day. Only when I saw his face did I realise who it was and feel a bit foolish.
Anyway, he's trying to make his new tracks "more intense" and he has some weekend gigs coming up. He was wearing a pink sleeveless T-shirt and was quite softly spoken - not really living up to the image of the embodiment of satan.

Reading Fest hospitality area
He was MOBBED by squillions of camera and microphone weilding types, being newsworthy I suppose because he was there but not actually playing. He's much shorter up close, and also he has no hair right now. This was on the Saturday (26th August).
