I agree with the sentiment about Dave's wellbeing but I fear it's starting to get a bit hysterical?
He's free to come and go as he pleases and he seems to like the company of people. What should we do - fence of the area so he cant get near us?

Dolphins in Sandgate!

They might be porpoises actually, but there's a family of three aquatic mammals playing happily in the sea just by The Ship in Sandgate, get down there and have a look.

Nice sighting. There was a dolphin lurking off of the harbour a couple of weeks ago. BTW, I have seen a family party of dolphins at Dungey a while ago, so they are around our area.

Its good to see the dolphins back in our area, I can recall back in the early 1950`s they were quite a commnon site off the beaches of Herne bay.but unfortunately as the area grew in popularity and more boats took to the sea they disappeared.

I recently had the magical experience of seeing the bottle nose dolphin that has been around sandgate bay this year, but when a friend went to see him, there was no sign of him... is he still around?

Don't know, I missed the recent BBC "inside out" show where they tried to film him, but I'd have thought if he's as intelligent as dolphins are meant to be he'd have swum off to warmer waters... Maybe sandgatedolphin.co.uk has more....
