Clarke Family Tree

www.Clarkeology.com is our Clarke genealogy site, set up to host the family tree info dug up by my Dad Barry Clarke, and turned into web pages by me, My page with my family links. Click on either of those names to get climbing the tree from that point, or start at this page, or see the surnames, or the family tree forum.

Apologies if the site is too commercial:

Your message sent to the ENG-HAM-PORTSMOUTH-GOSPORT mailing list has
been reviewed and will not be posted for the following reason:
Please remove the clarkeology link as it has commercial pages on it.
Thanks

What am I to do? What is it that makes the pages commercial, is it the google ads or the ebay links?

We haven't found any or yet, but we have tracked down some surviving branches of our tree that we knew nothing about, and found we had relatives on the Titanic.

If you think you might have a link into our family tree, or would like to put out a request for assistance, please leave a message or drop me an email - pauly at clarkeology dot com... If you sign up for an account in this section you'll be able to add / update your own family details where relevant. Cool eh?

This site also contains my blog, with links to all the stuff I like - Folkestone gigs, pubs, property and Folkestone restaurant reviews these days, now we have long left for the delights of the Kent coast... Also the usual stuff (, , etc), and I'm trying to keep my eye in with things like , , and other bloggers at large... It's also got some works-in-progress, www.popbitch.com, www.folkestonegerald.com, and other friends sites.

Instead of googling for something like Folkestone pizza to find me, why not just go straight to that page, with a bookmark or something modern like that? I still recommend del.icio.us for keeping track of other websites, though I might revise that if Microsoft buys them.

Erk, work

I get in this morning and have urgent work waiting for me right away, this is not a good start to the week. We had a bit of a refit of IT around the office, so there are a few snags to sort out, think it all went smoothly though. Had a very quiet weekend, missed our office party, and didn't even go out on Saturday night. Clare shopped hard in Canterbury on Saturday, while I stayed in and played computers. I tried to further upgrade the machine I've been using, and broke it at just the worst moment. I got a call from work with a little job for me, so had to put the old broken PC back online. LUCKILY that worked out OK, as I was sure I'd broken the motherboard on the "new" computer (the free one from Clare's work) by trying to shoehorn in more memory. Was considering going and buying a new PC at one point, but in the end I got them both sorted, and ended up more or less where I'd started the day. I did find a bit of time to work on my maps and now have Folkestone pub map, Folkestone real estate map and the all new gig map working more or less as planned.

Sunday did a bit of visiting, a bit of housework, a bit of shopping, and a lot of telly watching. Couldn't quite stay up long enough to see lose to Chinese Automaton last night, though we did see some superb play. This means our final two episodes of are saved for this evening.

Woken up today with a not entirely 100% tummy, I hope it's not down to me eating chilli every day for the past week. Lunch today will be CHILLI again, a different one though.
