- Britannia Inn (26 Horn Street, Seabrook, Near Folkestone, Kent)
Quiz and dinner
Clare did the quiz at The Britannia last night. They drew but lost in the tie break. Not sure of the full details but doesn't sound like the deserved to get that far, they couldn't come up with the first name of Frankenstein, so plumped for Henry. And freakishly got it marked correct, as the name Henry was used in the film. No-one knows why the name was changed from Victor (in the book), it is a mystery of monstrous proportions.
The Incredible Hulk's real name was also fouled up in the same way. Though this did not form part of last night's quiz.
The sausage and mash was very nice apparently. GBP6 per head, including your food. Might well see you there on some future Wednesday...

- Weekend reportSuper weekend, starting with The Mighty Boosh at the LCH, funny, good, we felt a bit old though, they do attract a young audience, lots of whom were dressed up. I maybe enjoyed the show a bit more than my companions, though it did feel a bit like a cobbled together string of all the funny characters from the show. It felt like that because it was that, like the TV show and the radio show before it. A few drinks after this in The Clifton, and then home to our massive telly - sorry no pictures of -
