Come on, someone must have been at this..? Maybe this was at the School of Art instead.
[leave a comment]- Wheels of confusion...black-sabbath.com and ozzyhead.com both say the gig was at Tofts, but they could both be copied from the same innacurate source, I will do more searching for the School of Art if you think the gig might have been there... -
- Black Sabbath 1970I saw Black Sabbath at Tofts in Folkestone but the gig was in April (11th) "1971" - not 1970. I didstinctly remember seeing Ozzy and the band tucked into a small corner at the back,in the upstairs room of the venue. Most of the time, it seemed, Ozzy was huddled over the mike with his back to the audience. However, the music, I recall, was both dark and powerful and for the relatively small audience it was awsome; almost anarchic and somewhat akin to those smokey jazz-clubs of an earlier age, - Steve

- Weekend reportSuper weekend, starting with The Mighty Boosh at the LCH, funny, good, we felt a bit old though, they do attract a young audience, lots of whom were dressed up. I maybe enjoyed the show a bit more than my companions, though it did feel a bit like a cobbled together string of all the funny characters from the show.
