- 1995 Supergrass @ The Joiners (Thu 9 Feb 1995)
plus The Bluetones, a great gig, at a great time.
[leave a comment] - 1995 Faith No More @ Portsmouth Pyramids (Thu 2 Mar 1995)
Think the lighting rig fell into the crowd at this gig, oops...

- 1995 Terrorvision @ Portsmouth Pyramids (Mon 1 May 1995)

[leave a comment] - 1995 Heavy Stereo @ The Wedgewood Rooms (Thu 6 Jul 1995)
Colin "Gem" Archer who went on to join Oasis. I loved Heavy Stereo, nice bit of glam rock. Plus Embassy and Thermal, I think Thermal were local heroes...
[leave a comment] - 1995 Thurman @ The Joiners (Thu 14 Sep 1995)
Britpop, I thought they were the greatest at the time but it's not all aged well
[leave a comment] - 1995 Fluffy @ The Joiners (Wed 27 Sep 1995)
All girl rock, loved them at the time, they basically played gigs in their pants
[leave a comment] - 1995 Longpigs @ The Joiners (Thu 28 Sep 1995)
See that, SIX in a row, Mansun, Perfume, Thurman, Fluffy, Gouge, Longpigs. At the time I thought what a GREAT time this is for music.
[leave a comment] - 1995 Echobelly @ The Joiners (Thu 19 Oct 1995)
Possibly this was 1994, I thought they were one of the first bands I saw at the Joiners, but I've got the details from Oliver Gray's gig list.
[leave a comment] - 1995 Kula Shaker @ Reading Alleycat (Thu 26 Oct 1995)
Some ill advised comments about swastikas saw the band fall right down before the signed goodies I got this day became worth anything... here's to a revival!
[leave a comment] - 1995 Menswear @ Camden Underworld (Wed 1 Nov 1995)
A radio one show, was billed as Longpigs and Fluffy and Menswear were surprise headliners. The glory days of britpop! They got in big trouble for swearing live on the radio. Think I have the day right, let me know if you know better...
[leave a comment] - 1995 Oasis @ Earls Court (Sat 4 Nov 1995)
Did they have the Bootleg Beatles again? Or am I misremembering the Southampton gig?
[leave a comment] - 1995 Radiohead @ Southampton Guildhall (Tue 7 Nov 1995)
I won tickets from Radio One I think, Sparklehorse support, Mark Linkous played the gig in a wheelchair, unless my brane is playing tricks.

- Weekend reportSuper weekend, starting with The Mighty Boosh at the LCH, funny, good, we felt a bit old though, they do attract a young audience, lots of whom were dressed up. I maybe enjoyed the show a bit more than my companions, though it did feel a bit like a cobbled together string of all the funny characters from the show. It felt like that because it was that, like the TV show and the radio show before it. A few drinks after this in The Clifton, and then home to our massive telly - sorry no pictures of -
