The Premier Tour, plus Sheep on Drugs. Some sort of "incident" saw them off the tour after this date.
[leave a comment]- Did Sheep on Drugs support Gary Numan in Folkestone in 1996I've heard this mentioned before, it's making sense now, from this blog: they made all previous supports seem like geniuses in comparison (and I include Sheep on Drugs at Folkestone Pavilion in 1996) So something happened that night to get them kicked off the Gary Numan tour. So that places them and he in Folkestone, at the Pavilion, in March 1996, quite possibly with the lead piping! Doesn't sound very likely that a major tour would be at the Pavilion though, I think it's the Leas Cliff H -

- Weekend reportSuper weekend, starting with The Mighty Boosh at the LCH, funny, good, we felt a bit old though, they do attract a young audience, lots of whom were dressed up. I maybe enjoyed the show a bit more than my companions, though it did feel a bit like a cobbled together string of all the funny characters from the show. It felt like that because it was that, like the TV show and the radio show before it. A few drinks after this in The Clifton, and then home to our massive telly - sorry no pictures of -

Battle of the Bands type thing for Sellindge Festival.
[leave a comment]- Free gig Thursday to find the best local talent for music festivalBe there to witness the best local bands battling it out for a spot on the main stage at Sellindge Music Festival 2009. On 22nd January, SMF presented Heat 1 of the Main Stage Talent Tournament to a packed venue in Folkestone, and saw The Little Philistines and Burgundy making it through to the final. This Thursday, five more bands will play their hearts out in hopes of making it through. The bands include Watch This Space, Waterhorse, Us & Them, Monday Street, and Elephants. Two of these -
