- 1997 Suede @ Leas Cliff Hall (Tue 4 Feb 1997)
plus Mansun. I wasn't there but Clare was.
[leave a comment]- now all we need is the date...did you see any other bands there? I've heard of a few others playing there, it was on the indie circuit, but no-one's sure of actual dates. Suede played there, that's one I do have a date for, as it's in their biography Love and Poison. I hear Faith No More played there, and PJ Harvey too. -
- 1997 Placebo @ Mean Fiddler (Fri 21 Feb 1997)
Plus dEUS though I got there too late for the support:
[leave a comment] - 1997 The Fall @ Mean Fiddler (Wed 26 Feb 1997)

- 1997 David Devant And His Spirit Wife @ Dingwalls (Tue 25 Nov 1997)
This actually might not have been the LEGENDARY album launch do, found a pass with a date on it so guessing it was earlier this year...
[leave a comment] - 1997 Belle and Sebastian @ Manchester Town Hall (Sun 28 Dec 1997)
Went to both nights, but not the extra afternoon show they did. Shambolic, but fun

- Weekend reportSuper weekend, starting with The Mighty Boosh at the LCH, funny, good, we felt a bit old though, they do attract a young audience, lots of whom were dressed up. I maybe enjoyed the show a bit more than my companions, though it did feel a bit like a cobbled together string of all the funny characters from the show.
