- Weekend reportSuper weekend, starting with The Mighty Boosh at the LCH, funny, good, we felt a bit old though, they do attract a young audience, lots of whom were dressed up. I maybe enjoyed the show a bit more than my companions, though it did feel a bit like a cobbled together string of all the funny characters from the show. It felt like that because it was that, like the TV show and the radio show before it. A few drinks after this in The Clifton, and then home to our massive telly - sorry no pictures of -

From Florida, looks a bit hard metal to me, are they? Plus God Forbid + Bloodsimple
[leave a comment]- Trivium are coming to FolkestoneTrivium are Matt Heafy (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Corey Beaulieu (Guitars, Vocals), Travis Smith (Drums), and Paolo Gregoletto (Bass, Vocals), from Florida, USA. Anyone know more about them? They're on Roadrunner Records, so I'm guessing they're a bit heavy. -

- Trivium reviewThe Trivium gig sounds like it was great, just seen this post on onfolkestone.co.uk: Liked a few Bloodsimple songs, God Forbid were immense but Trivium damn well ruled, they had power and alot of control. Best moments - The Shredathon they had Playing Master of Puppets (even tho the singer was bull crap cos he was from the crowd) Seek & Destroy The little piss about they had at the end, playing (among other things) Sweet Home Alabama, Lose Yourself, The Trooper, a coupla Queen songs. -

[leave a comment] - 2008 Mighty Boosh Festival @ The Hop Farm (Sat 5 Jul 2008)
Bit of a weak lineup actually :-( The day before Neil Young, could be a mighty weekend. Check ebay...
[leave a comment]- Neil Young and The Mighty BooshIt's all kicking off at the Hop Farm this year isn't it? Neil Young is there on the 6th, and according to the NME, there's a Mighty Boosh festival the same weekend. No tickets on sale for that yet I don't think, so could all be a lie, keep an eye on ebay maybe for Booshstock (Glastonboosh?), but get Neil Young tickets here... -
- Speaking of journeys through time and space...The Mighty Boosh festival lineup is out, as seen on posters at Folkestone station, though I'm sure I could have been quicker off the mark than that. It's a bit ropey actually. The 'Boosh themselves headline I think, with The Charlatans, Gary Numan, White Denim, The Kills, Peaches (DJing only), and Polar Bear. I've no idea of the format actually, so i'm not sure what part Noel Fielding, Julian Barrett et all will play. There is a full comedy lineup too featuring Ross Noble, Frankie Boyle, Flig -
