Checked out the family tree things from Dad, we do have records going much further back now, to Samuel Clarke of East Meon, I don't have a date of birth for him but from the date of birth of his Son William Clarke, Samuel must have been born around the time of the great fire of London, COOL!
Also got set some more Folkestone gig history, a picture of the Pretty Things (not to be confused with the Dirty Pretty Things) taken outsider Pipers in the 1960s..

I'm guessing that all the anniversaries listed here are not actually right, that's too many for just one day. What might have happened is dates have been entered in a UK format, and been flipped to US format and then defaulted to the first of the month... ie I've put in a date of 15 / 1 / 1963 (English day / month / year), that's been read as "15th month, 1st day, 1963" in an American format, and that's been "sensibilised" to "12th month, 1st day". Bah.
