Councillor Dan Hassett says are definitely coming to Folkestone now:

There has been much speculation about opening in Folkestone. I can finally confirm that they will be opening in the new shopping centre. They have applied for permission to extend opening hours to 7am-10pm and to have an outdoor seating area.

A bank/building society/Bureau de Change will also be opening in Bouverie Place. There have been rumours that HSBC is moving in. It's a large unit spread over two floors.

Costa's a bit pricey, and the queues are too long / slow, and Starbucks often has better food. Let the games commence!

The new shopping centre will also have a cafe on the first floor, alongside Asda. I've been told that Cafe Nero are going to take it, but I don't think it is official yet. The same source told me that HSBC were moving in there a few weeks ago, so it's probably true.

my wife will be pleased, she likes them best too... with everyone spending 3.50 on cups of coffee, they'll have no money left to spend in the rest of the new shopping centre though...

Is Nero that much better?

I can't remember the name of the one I like, possibly it's Nero, is that the one in the wonky old building in the middle of Canterbury?

Where and lead maybe the others will follow... having a in town's got to be a good thing though, hasn't it?

Welcome to the board btw, you posted here before?

The wife went there yesterday and also said it was a bit poor, still probably better than what we had.
