Lovely just seen someone contemplating buying one of these new iRiver mp3 playing devices via the site... please do, that'll earn me a jim benner!
Undecided about them myself, direct recording is quite handy, but ogg vorbis is not important right now, and by the time it becomes important (if it does, and it's not betamax 2) then there'll be an ipod OS update so we can play them too...
I guess the main thing is it's cheaper than an IPOD, and it's "not an IPOD", so you can be cool and alternative and that, yeah...
