A popbitch chum has died, a very popular character at the popbitch events, as were his late night ramblings on the website. Still not sure what happened yet, but it's very sad. I remember meeting him at the first popbitch fund raiser, which was a great time and seemed a real golden age for the web community. There's a tribute thread that's looking big enough to bring the whole board down. Neither John Peel or the victims of the London tube bombings or 9/11 got this many posts.

Aye, 'appen. Met him just the twice, whilst still a resident of God's Own County and a topper bloke you couldn't wish to have met. I can't quite believe he's gone, especially as he wasn't that old either. I hope the various tribute threads are being archived for posterity.
