I know where at least one of them was the night before last, they were bellowing obscenities through my intercom, that's where they were. What was that all about? I jumped up when I heard the doorbell, assuming it must be some sort of family emergency for someone to be calling round at that time, but it was just a stream of invective followed by the sound of running away.
I bet they hit all the intercom buttons and I bet we get the blame at the next house meeting.

Last night we had a lemon thrown at while we were at a cash machine. What is the world coming to, eh?

I read "lesbian", it's a niche variety of dyslexia I think. "Librarian" is the same.
The context should give me a clue though, no-one's likely to be throwing lesbians at you at cashpoints I suppose.

That would be a niche variety of cashpoint.
I'd have no problems being charged £1.50 to withdraw cash if there were hot lesbians throwing themselves at me.
I think I've just had a business idea....
