My flat is well high

Trying to save a bit of disk space, just erased everything, hope I am recovering it OK...
Terry Jones was good last night at the Literary Festival, though he was rushing a bit, think he was trying to squeeze too much material into a truncated time slot. He did do a few Pythonesque things including telling us someone was a "very naughty boy". I forget who now, maybe Richard III. Got a book signed by him (Terry Jones, not Richard III), and also Roy Hattersley. Not the same book.
Terry Jones signing my book:
Kind of wish I had a big stack of Monty Python memorabilia like the guy at the front of the queue did, all of it already covered in signatures, I bet he was a dealer...
No Andy, no actual prize for spotting Clare in this Where's Wally shot inside Folkestone Academy...

Never attempt something technical like that in live before 9am - it'll only end in tears.
In other news, are you preparing for the flood? Are you safely ensconced on higher ground, or are you hoping your flat is going to be high enough?

The street is about 20 metres above sea level anyway and I'm on the second floor... Sounds like the flood risk has passed for everyone now anyway.
Have a good weekend!

Over to you, discussion about anything local, but please be considerate... Folkestone on TV, Kent gigs, Find a flatmate, rent a room, property queries, current news, what's new, local events, for sale, local services, what I like about Folkestone, ask questions, offer advice, plug yourself... the more it's used the more useful a resource it will become. If you want a gig listed click here to add it (fixed now!), or just click here to post a message...
