Toshiba has announced it's stopping production of the HDDVD format. So Sony's Blu-Ray is the winner so far. Anyone bought an HDDVD player yet?

Watch the price of HDDVD machines tumble a bit fast.

It's a shame, I'd rather have a smaller, independant company running the show than the likes of Sony. I haven't bought either, but it looks like I'll be getting a PS3 instead of a Wii...

I'm not into gaming enough to bother yet either.

Toshiba were hardly "Mama's Kitchen Garden", they're a fairly big outfit.

I know, but they aren't the ubiquitous force that Sony are.

I'd def go and see MJ at the Fringe, although I really didn't like that video he did for FAWM. He's only doing 1 gig in Aug and that's not up here...
