The Death of Twitter

Aug152008

Last Bus Home has the details. I hope it's true, I'm glad, can't be doing with it at all myself. I think I said before, it seems to me like someone thought blogging was a bit of a hassle, having to think of something to say and then saying it, if only there was a way I could just go "Hey!" and let people know I was there; all the attention seeking, none of the content. And that's twitter.

The "death" that I have greatly exaggerated is that they've turned off the text messaging part of it in the UK.

Over to you, discussion about anything local, but please be considerate... Folkestone on TV, Kent gigs, Find a flatmate, rent a room, property queries, current news, what's new, local events, for sale, local services, what I like about Folkestone, ask questions, offer advice, plug yourself... the more it's used the more useful a resource it will become. If you want a gig listed click here to add it (fixed now!), or just click here to post a message...
