Another scorcher today

Have a good weekend all, remember the sunblock

Was hot when I got up before seven this morning, will it stay this nice all weekend? Got a boys day tomorrow, as Clare is off to a wedding. I was invited too, but not Harry, and all our babysitters are too far away, or going to the wedding too. Thought for a bit about asking a friend to watch Harry just for a few hours, but then thought about it again. That would give me just enough time to suit up, drive some distance to the wedding, sit through the church bit, and then drive home again, missing all the free food and drink. If you split a wedding in two, and have say the free food and drink and dancing in one bit, and then the suiting up and going to a church in the other bit, and I could only choose one of those bits, I would generally not choose the suit / church bit. So, just he and me are staying home, and we're going to have a great time! Going down the town, cruising the cafes, and taking a peek at the beach like we did last time.

Suddenly got a new project at work, a contrast from the usual stuff this one is looking far too wide open with too many options, it's difficult to know which bit to do first. Interesting stuff though. Got some training coming up soon in a new language (new to me, though I have read a few tutorials). I bet it clashes with when we are on holiday (which we booked yesterday). Two days in Hampshire, oh yeah we know how to roll! It will be great, we will be near to family so we can drop Harry off / spend the days with them all but then we can go wild in the evening hitting the bars and restaurants of a different cosmopolis.
