Kettle go bang!

All our electrics tripped out this morning, I hope it hasn't fried my new NAS or computer, I left them both on transferring a huge library of music and movies overnight. Turns out it was our kettle, one of these. It's not the fuse, as the kettle light is still on, and there's not a lot else to it, so must be the heating element or something. It's not working anyway. Reset the trip switch and we have power again, but we need a new kettle. Have decided not to buy another one of these, as that's the second one that's failed in the last few years, so going with a cheaper one that looks similar.

Over to you, discussion about anything local, but please be considerate... Folkestone on TV, Kent gigs, Find a flatmate, rent a room, property queries, current news, what's new, local events, for sale, local services, what I like about Folkestone, ask questions, offer advice, plug yourself... the more it's used the more useful a resource it will become. If you want a gig listed click here to add it (fixed now!), or just click here to post a message...
