I saw a great documentary on Sky Arts about the technicolour dream gig at the Albert Hall 19 1967 and man alive the Pretty Things are not as pretty as they once were. I am so used to seeing that picture of Phil May on this site (taken outside Pipers in Tontine Street, a long time ago), but who'd have thought it, in the intervening forty years they appear to have become older.
Oh also Paul McCartney is playing the 100 Club at lunchtime on Friday, how amazing would that be?&& Tickets on sale in the morning, good luck!
