Ipad is the new ie6

My esteemed colleague Gav is right, the ipad is the new ie6, we are having to put horrible hacks in our code like this to get around the fact that a) apple / ipad / iphone are breaking normal browser behaviour and b) they are enormously popular so if your stuff doesn't work on their platform (even though you're doing it right) then you're doing it wrong.

Over to you, discussion about anything local, but please be considerate... Folkestone on TV, Kent gigs, Find a flatmate, rent a room, property queries, current news, what's new, local events, for sale, local services, what I like about Folkestone, ask questions, offer advice, plug yourself... the more it's used the more useful a resource it will become.
