Well, the theory of a plot to switch the Titanic with it's sister ship, the badly damaged Olympic was news to me... Saw a programme on it on Sky the other night, but I should have guessed, this is a very old story... See also The Ship That Never Sank, and The Titanic Conspiracy.
Most of the suggested evidence seemed very weak, but people like this sort of thing. I still believe it was a tragedy, and one that claimed one of our family, Charles Valentine Clarke...
