Well, back in beige really, back in the office, back to the grind, back to the heat... Thought popex.com was working since Friday, but not, all the cron jobs were turned off so the game's been frozen, though new people could still sign up...
- Restart popex things, went smoothly
- Chase up restarting Barfly things possibly a network problem introduced during the server move is stopping machines talking to each other, which is stopping the sites being updated
- Same problem affects popex, which means no ticket updates etc
- Put the referer / search term chart page on popex
- Doing a big eshot for Barfly Cardiff, they just confirmed hot Australian rock band Jet
- Some promo activity for Mute Records
- Regular popex admin, chart updating etc... long day!

Been looking forward to getting these Suede tickets all week, when I finally got through it turns out their for members only. I could join (30 quid - not sure if that's joining the ICA or joining the Suede fanclub) but the tickets for the first gigs are gone anyway, so no point. BAH!
Soup for lunch again... instead of making our own stock for it, we used stock cubes, this has made it damn salty, and also made it mostly evaporate overnight, which means it's really really thick. You can stand it up and mold it into shapes etc, you shouldn't be able to do that with a soup.
New referal from brightonlife.com, seems to be another popbitch spin off, I hope they're saying something nice.
