Dilemma

Feb72005

Bloc Party or The Tears? The Tears or Bloc Party? I can go to either, on the 16th of Feb, but not to both... Bloc Party is at the Barfly, never seen them and that venue is far too cosy for them... The Tears is at the Astoria, part of NME week which I always loved, and they have a full supporting lineup. For the uninitiated The Tears are Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler of Suede who I liked, but I've seen them in this incarnation and they weren't all that... Help me out here people, what should I go to?

Tear vs Bloc Party

Simple solution.
You go to Tears.
I'll go to Bloc Party and let you know how good it was.

This is a serious offer.

I can't pass the invites on unfortunately

I could maybe pass the Tears tickets on, but that would be out of order... They know me at the Barfly. I have to give one of them back...

Over to you, discussion about anything local, but please be considerate... Folkestone on TV, Kent gigs, Find a flatmate, rent a room, property queries, current news, what's new, local events, for sale, local services, what I like about Folkestone, ask questions, offer advice, plug yourself... the more it's used the more useful a resource it will become. If you want a gig listed click here to add it (fixed now!), or just click here to post a message...
