A night out in Stoke Newington

Was planning to see Captain Soul tonight at a venue called 22 Inverness Street, which I'd never heard of before. So, night out in Stokey again, probably The Defoe, then Il Bacio, then a big fight on the way home!
Am waiting for the bummers on popbitch to post more irrelevant and needy crap (shouldn't take long) so I can respond with more pictures of burst drains. Only problem is the editors are also taking offense and are deleting the shite before I can reply to it, that system is too efficient...
Observer music magazine party tomorrow, featuring Mercury winner Dizzee Rascal and a well stocked bar I hope.

We replaced the cancelled gig with a night drinking beer in the Defoe (they still have Lock Stock on), and also Rose wine. I'm really into it now, whereas before I only used to drink red. I tried to get into white, but have settled on Rose, I love it. The wine was in Il Bacio, to accompany our food, the Passione D'Amour again for me, with aubergine and avocado and capers, but without the cheese, very nice.

Working on the Barfly band bible more today, it's looking good, will hopefully be ready to go by the end of the week. Couple of hours of popex admin too.
