speed is the issue with the stuff that i've tried too.

Go to post a reply on the forum and you can see the band selecter in action... doing some testing before rolling it out proper. It's not working on IE on OSX right now, though the other browsers seem OK (Firefox, Safari, and IE on the PC).
The speed issue will be how quickly I can do the database lookup I think.
