Hottest day EVER!

SO the papers (and the sun) are predicting that 12th of August is going to be the hottest day ever, with temperatures reaching 103... what a day to be tarted up to the nines in a full length jacket, waistcoat, shirt, cravat, everthing... Way to go talking me out of the short trousers idea the best man!

Hottest day...

Just realised - the 12th of August came and went and it wasn't too hot was it? Bring back the stocks for these weather experts!

How in the name of HELL can they do that?

Its bloody ages off yet and anything could happen weatherwise. I don't care if they spent centuries looking at data, I bet they get it wrong. Otherwise you are going to be baking, what time is the main event anyway?

Hottest time of day on the hottest day ever, in the hottest clothes... This will be one HOT wedding! You're right, it's a bit of a wacky prediction.

Over to you, discussion about anything local, but please be considerate... Folkestone on TV, Kent gigs, Find a flatmate, rent a room, property queries, current news, what's new, local events, for sale, local services, what I like about Folkestone, ask questions, offer advice, plug yourself... the more it's used the more useful a resource it will become. If you want a gig listed click here to add it (fixed now!), or just click here to post a message...
