Went well, got some good pictures I hope. There was no celebrity honorary degree, I was hoping for something like that to liven the ceremony up. A chap called Sir Kit McMahon was made a fellow of Birkbeck though.
The building the ceremony is in - Senate House - was quite impressive, it's had a few literary references, featuring in Day Of The Triffids and it is thinly disguised as the Ministry of Truth in 1984.
