The worst offender is Folkestone and Dover Water, which will charge its 160,000 customers an average of £166 a year for water from April. This compares with an average bill of £142.
Where do these averages come from? I just got a bill for £260 for this year, and I'm sure that doesn't include the waste water bit... this is for a two bed flat and all! Roll on water metering...

My water bill was similar to yours and about a third more than my London home! I got a water meter now - cut my bill by half
