At the Belle and Sebastian press conference, the band were asked if they took part in the anti capitalism riot this weekend. All claimed to have alibis, but main vocalist Stuart Murdoch said
I might have thrown a
rock if I was there, but I wasn't
He wasn't challenged as to what would have made him throw a rock at what should have been a peaceful protest.
