Smoked Porter wins out

Taking a chance on a couple of new beers, as it's christmas... got some "Black Chocolate Stout" from New York's Brooklyn Brewery, and some "Smoked Porter" from the Alaskan Brewing Company, will report back...
And I'm glad to report that I'm back to #1 (why try harder?) when googling for stoke newington, there's not a lot more to it than mentioning it on every page...

Smoked Porter was amazing, a real barbecuey flavour and smell, a really good dark beer. The Black Chocolate Stout was good too, stronger, but knocked into second place by the Porter...
