Glasto’s sold out and it’d be naughty to jump the fence, so how about a festival the same weekend, with over 100 bands & djs, until 5am every day, including: chemical brothers, travis, garbage, red hot chili peppers, kent, primal scream, yeah yeah yeahs, timo maas, black rebel motorcycle club, trail of dead, beta band, spiritualized, andy weatherall, mull historical society and even the pet shop boys & so solid crew?
Like the sound of it? well, it’s the Roskilde festival in Denmark and we’re giving away a pair of tickets, with travel, this friday... and there’s t-shirts for the runners-up...
Plus, upstairs, the return of guest djs fondue meltdown, back for another 70 minutes of madness, with their unique mixes of tunes that just shouldn’t go together – and yet they do! played by xfm, pursued by music lawyers, you’ll shake your head in disbelief... and dance anyway...
