David Devant and his Spirit Wife return at last, gigging with Inner City Unit...

After a spell in the wilderness David Devant & His Spirit Wife are ready to return with the results of their secret endeavours..

As a reward for being patient all year the band will present their fans with a Christmas Gig full of new songs old favourites and a brand new mode of live performance at: the Mean Fiddler (Formerly the LA2) on Londons Charring Cross Road on December 17.

This is a Christmas Gig with no motive other than having fun, the band have teamed up with friends "Inner City Unit" to take over one of Londons more prestigious venues for this Christmas treat which will be an upbeat antidote to the last minute christmas shopping and long dark evenings.

The bands next release: "The Lost World of David Devant & His Spirit Wife Volumes 1 & 2". the legendary album of unreleased tracks and live rarities much talked about in Devant circles, will follow hot on the heals of the New Year, then in the spring of 2002 their will be a new album of all new material. (Hear it first on Dec 17!)
