Suede. Gomez. M People. What they got in common? That's it, one fantastically received album, and then gradually disappearing from our lives since then... and GUESS WHAT! They all won the Mercury Price
OK, stretching the point a bit, apparently Damon Gough has three albums of material in reserve (hmm, heard that before, what's the story?) and long may he reign, but just possibly we will never hear anything as good as Hour of the Bewilderbeast from him again. Why couldn't Coldplay have won?
Come on past winners, I dare you Suede, I double dare you, come back with a GRATE new album. Please?
