Ah no, not really

You may have heard whispers. People muttering bad things. Folk saying it was all over for the good ole boys of Club Beer.

And there was a point, we have to admit, when it was all nearly true.

But now, we have an announcement to make:

THE RUMOURS OF OUR DEMISE HAVE BEEN GREATLY EXAGGERATED. MOSTLY BY OURSELVES. WE WERE GOING TO HAVE TO GIVE UP CLUB BEER BECAUSE OF RISING TRAVEL COSTS. BUT THEN ROGER OF CASINO ROYALE OFFERED US AN EXTRA TENNER AND OUR PROBLEMS WERE SOLVED.

Praise be to Roger.

So, it's on again:

May 10th, Club Beer at The Monarch, Chalk Farm Road, 10pm-3am, £5 in. To win a place on the guest list, simply complete this phrase: "Please don't die Club Beer, because..."
