So NME have pulled all their free email accounts

Mar182004

Not sure I've used mine, but still, BASTARDS! I was working there when this came in, I integrated it into the site, and I got cool short email addresses for all my friends and family... Luckily a mate told me about this, it went straight into my spam filter:

Hello NME.COM subscriber,
We regret to inform you that all free nme.com email accounts will be closed on
31st March 2004. Unfortunately the cost of managing the service is now too high
for us to keep it running any longer and our efforts to find a free service
provider have failed...

Quick, everyone over to yahoo.co.uk or something!

Over to you, discussion about anything local, but please be considerate... Folkestone on TV, Kent gigs, Find a flatmate, rent a room, property queries, current news, what's new, local events, for sale, local services, what I like about Folkestone, ask questions, offer advice, plug yourself... the more it's used the more useful a resource it will become. If you want a gig listed click here to add it (fixed now!), or just click here to post a message...
