Who Do You Work For Then?

Just found your blog, it's nice to see someone else who enthuses about Folkestone. We bought a place down here in September andalso spend most of the week looking forward the Friday night dash down to Folkestone. We live near the harbour and spend the weekends trying out the pubs and restaurants. We bought our house in the belief that Folkestone is on the up, not to make a profit but because we want a slightly saner lifestyle. Hoping that at sometime in the not too distant future we will be able to find work here as well but that may take a while (we both work in music/TV biz, not much scope for that in Folkestone - yet).

Oh yes, Roger de Haan rocks!

I work for Channelfly, based in Farringdon... if you go setting up a company you locally you give me a shout! :-)

The main blog is at www.clarkeology.com/blog/, in case you've not seen it... cheers for the comments!

hi Steve T - you still around in Folky? I just moved here too - down by the harbour - I work in film and commute in to London at the moment... hopefully will find a way of working closer to home soon though...

A burgeoning local film industry?

Sounds good, seen a couple of things in the paper about people making films locally, good luck with finding something locally.

I (not Steve T) am still commuting daily from the West End of Folkestone into London, it's exhausting innit? I am being made redundant at the end of the year, so hopefully something closer to home will come up then, or I'll get enough freelance stuff to see me through (web development, if you know of anything..?).
