Looking for more mentions of The Metronome found a tale of some Australian called Intensified attempting to play a New Years Eve gig there, but then not as the PA wasn't up to the job.
In the same week they mention another gig at the Metronome and another venue called Bottoms, wonder if it's still going and what it's called now..?

Not sure where I was new years eve 1990, possibly at the Marquee seeing Love / Hate and Atom Seed.
