Lawks, that frightened me a bit, today I have been WORKING! Not real work, tapping on a keyboard, but monkeying about decorating Dean's front room. We worked all day on it, and to be honest it's looking slightly worse than when we started, so I think I'd better go back tomorrow to help put it straight. I'm spattered with paint from doing the ceiling, and from certain angles these white flecks on my hair look a bit like strands of grey. Can you imagine!
Had a request on FG, so did a little bit of online research and found some quite interesting local history here, I might do more of that, it's good to know what local places used to be.
Reading: Child's Play
Listening to: Kenickie
Eating: Penne arrabiata
Regretting: Being so weak that a bit of painting is making me ache

paiting ceiling's are not nice. use your delts far more than they'd normally be used.
so, random question of the day - do you know off the top of your head any good sites for pimping up blackberry's etc (like ilounge for ipod) or just general knowledge base for it? i've been forced to have one (although it's only the 7290 which is highly embarassing) so i might as well make the most of it.

Done another day of ceiling painting. If I knew where my deltoids were, I expect I'd be patting their bulging form right now.

your deltoids are your shoulders! tsk! see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deltoids
You see, no one who does proper IT has anything to do with blackberry - i feel ashamed to have been consumed by the whole thing. not that i *do* IT, but you know what i mean.

I don't "do" IT any more, I don't do anything, hence having the time to decorate!

yes well it's only temporary. OR you could become some cult figure in the day to day life of folkestone which you would blog about (using the latest technology of course (coat hanger and a pringles tube) to broadcast on the move) which would generate so much traffic that you could live off advertising revenue forever.

I've been posting some of other people's videos of folkestone on my folkestone forum / blog... Maybe I should make some more of my own! Did you see My circus skills? That's the only thing I've put up with me in it so far.

yes i did actually - it's a miracle you're still alive!! (although not from work - they've blocked youtube. harumf.)

Over to you, discussion about anything local, but please be considerate... Folkestone on TV, Kent gigs, Find a flatmate, rent a room, property queries, current news, what's new, local events, for sale, local services, what I like about Folkestone, ask questions, offer advice, plug yourself... the more it's used the more useful a resource it will become. If you want a gig listed click here to add it (fixed now!), or just click here to post a message...
