I recently had the magical experience of seeing the bottle nose dolphin that has been around sandgate bay this year, but when a friend went to see him, there was no sign of him... is he still around?

Don't know, I missed the recent BBC "inside out" show where they tried to film him, but I'd have thought if he's as intelligent as dolphins are meant to be he'd have swum off to warmer waters... Maybe sandgatedolphin.co.uk has more.

I was visiting Sandgate today (05/11/06) and was very pleased to see the wonderful sight of the bottle nose... it seems to be very happy here at the moment.
