OK, not actually, just potentially, in theory, someone is trying to generate a bit of press here I think. Nothing is confirmed, this sounds a bit rubbish actually, but the BBC do have a quote from himself:
"I was horrified but not surprised to see the UK fail," he said. "Why didn't they ask me?"
