Yeah, that's what everyone would like to think...
On the subject of Shoreditch, there was a huge road closure this morning, near where the filming was yesterday, busses on diversion and everything... Around the end of Great Eastern Street I think, though I immediately forget everything as soon as I get off the bus.

Imagine that... Overslept Sunday morning, so we went to Escondido for lunch instead. The chef got my food wrong again, so for the second time in a row mine came free, that's nice. Apparently Escondido weren't quite recovered from a disaster the previous evening when their stove broke down during peak service time, not sure how they managed to continue, but they soldiered on. It's a smashing place, especially with a discount like that...
Watched Ireland be dismissed by the Argentinians in the afternoon, then home for chilli and the all new Miss Marple, which has been very good. An unusual mix of actors, including at least one culty comedian in each one. This week we had a couple of Green Wings, last week another Green Wing and Nathan Barley and previously David Walliams has appeared.
Cold and raining now, not really keen on the idea of going to work, I'd rather sit in front of the telly with a book today.

I thought it was OK, a bit dry, I hope it develops... Got it videoed as we were out, but then watched the repeat quite drunk on Saturday, so I might have missed some stuff. I recognised everyone I know in the show (ie the characters, they weren't actually extras or anything like the chaps from www.ntk.net were) but not myself. Oh no.
The website is real, some backup material there so you can be more into this show than anyone else. It's not worth comparing it to the original material in TV Go Home (more here), though people will. Damn, so will I.... as this is a half hour show and they were just very short paragraphs of swearing, I think this is better in every way, though it might have seemed funnier if it'd been out a few years back, It's a lot like Attachments really, but more Chris Morris and less David Walliams.
