I saw in and it was the odeon theatre/Cinema and the date was May 17 1964, they also played the Leas Cliff Hall the previous month april 4th of that year

The odeon Cinema,also had the odeon bar,which became the sandgate bar a very good venue for us teens in those days it had its own seperate enterance it was situated directly above where Boots is now,

Yea Iwentto see the stones on that date it was great I will never forget it they were wearing sort of tweed like jackets if you can imagine that?and bill held his guitar upright that explains a lot about bill.
