Everyone's picked up on this mail bomber story, not sure why a house in Folkestone has been linked in to this though... The Sun says:
On February 3, another device was sent to the home of security boss Michael Wingfield, 53, in Folkestone, Kent.
Mr Wingfield, who nearly lost an eye, said: “There were three letters, two for my son and one addressed to the old company. I gave my wife the two for my son and the other one . . . bang.” On Monday a woman was injured by a bomb at the offices of Capita, which runs London’s congestion charge system.
All the other targets seem to have been companies a disgruntled motorist had a grudge against, maybe this security company were wheel clampers or something like that. If all these bombs had a Cambridgeshire post mark it shouldn't be too hard to track this mental down.
Much snow today, took some pictures this morning on the way in of sheep, hope they turn out OK. The wife gets a bonus day working at home for fear of being stranded in a snow drift somewhere.

BBC 2 tonight, "The Strange Case of Sherlock Holmes and Arthur Conan Doyle", a one off (I think) drama about the birth and death of Sherlock Holmes. Looks good to me, though Radio Times says it's a "slow-moving, vaguely supernatural essay". Coincidentally (or is it a PR stunt?) there are plans afoot to exhume bodies over the suspicion that Conan Doyle had someone MURDERED to cover up the fact that he'd stolen "Hound of the Baskervilles"! I read it in this morning's paper, can't find much online yet just this in the Glasgow Herald (not Folkestone Herald).
Today's commute in was rubbish, two annoying blokes sat behind us talking loud crap all the way in. SHUT UP! Or go sit in another carriage! When Folkestone Gerald goes paper I will write an editorial on this, oh yes, extreme measures...
Happy Birthday Clare! And me! It's both our birthdays today! No plans, what with getting up early and going to bed early, we'll be saving the celebrations for the weekend.
Didn't bring a lunch today, haven't enjoyed my home made dinners so much this week, so I will trudge up to Chap A Nash in the rain in a bit.
