OK, they were playing, but this is worth a mention because they did an extra set just for Radio One... They opened up the festival by playing a set in the hospitality bar that was partly broadcast on the Jo Whiley show, NICE!

Also they were loitering in the bar before and after their ROCKING set on the Carling stage.

They're doing a free set at Virgin Megastore today, to promote the new single, could be overkill, possibly I will go off them soon.

She was at the PACKED OUT Stephen Malkmus gig last night (12th Feb)... didn't see her until right at the end on the way out.

Sharon was at Kelly Osbourne's gig at the Electric Ballroom on Thursday 26th June, and so was Kelly's sister Aimy. But she's not famous. No sign of Ozzy, but a GRATE gig.

This was last Friday morning (18th August) and he was sitting in a standard class carriage with some friends/colleagues telling them how pleased he was that no-one recognised him.

A friend of mine actually spotted him. He was in Rockinghorse, on the second level, buying a CD. The identity of the CD is as yet unkown, but it was all yellow, most probably ...Art by fellow brisbane artists Regurgitator. He looks younger in real life too.

It was the launch party of Bang Magazine last night, and in keeping with their "Mid 90's Melody Maker" staffing policy, they only invited "celebs" who were in the 'Maker in the mid '90s too.

They were at the Bloodhound Gang's gig on August 16th... didn't speak to them, but apparently their American Accents held up all night.

Brett and the boys were having lunch in the Marquee Bar in the Parkfield Mall in Islington on Saturday whilst my flatmate and I were doing a crawl of fairly new drinking establishments in N1. It's fair to say the Marquee was far from the best one, despite the clientele.

I was expecting to see a big bundle of celebs at the last ever Suede gig at the Astoria on Saturday night, but as we stood downstairs I missed all the usual melee in the Keith Moon Bar... I DID however see Mike Leigh in the Phoenix Theatre bar before the gig. He has a big old beard.

I saw Bobby G and The Libertines in the Barfly too, but they've already been NABBED by other punters who were present...
