Yes that's Alec Empire of Atari Teenage Riot fame... This album's out on the 22nd of this month, though this copy is a Japanese version that was available last year... I've been putting off listening to it as I am intensophobic, but I'm glad I was in the mood for it today.

There's a gig on the 30th of April at the Mean Fiddler too, get tickets here, and the single is also out this week get it here and nudge it into the top 40... Imagine this on Top Of The Pops...

He doesn't half sound like the Fighting Cocks...

Bit of anecdotal gig history from Nazareth Direct... hanging off the ceiling? Really?

"When 'Broken Down Angel' took off, it happened really quickly. At the start of our first headlining tour, with Robin Trower supporting, we played to about 300 folk. We pulled the car onto the hard shoulder when we heard it on the wireless – and I can’t believe I just called it the wireless, either! – for the first time. We did Top Of The Pops, and a week later a gig at Leas Cliff Hill in Folkestone was so rammed the fans were hanging from the ceiling."

Don't have the actual date of this gig, anyone help?
