The Fall A benefit gig for a journalist Leo Finlay, with Ash and possibly Tiger and Formula 1. Matt Lucas was there. Possibly Travis also played... Mean Fiddler
Belle and Sebastian Paid 5x over the odds for a ticket, but we had to get in. Got in the aftershow too, there was just us and Jarvis Cocker there. Ooh did I drop another name? Union Chapel
WASP Not sure what day, the ticket is very faded... Zed Yago supported, this site says REM played there only two days before, I did pick the gigs to go to... Portsmouth Guildhall
Wolfsbane Found the ticket now! I went to the gig on my own, then got the last train up to Rugby, where I was staying for college. Can't find details anywhere online. Much stage diving, one of my favourite gig.s The Marquee
Symposium Where I met Clare, bless! Hope I got that year right... Also, oddly Sylvester McCoy was there at the after show. Electric Ballroom
Iron Maiden Was on a training course in Hounslow, turned up too late for support band Wolfsbane, and anyway we had no tickets, but got given some by someone outside, I am sure it was Tommy Vance. Apparently we saw Jonathon King there too. Hammersmith Odeon
Kula Shaker Some ill advised comments about swastikas saw the band fall right down before the signed goodies I got this day became worth anything... here's to a revival! Reading Alleycat
